The workshop is held scheduled from July 22-24, 2013.
ABOUT SOFTWARE: The software used for design and analysis during the training programme is a steady state simulator from Steag called "Ebsilon©Professional".This software can be used for design of any thermodynamic cycle including coal fired plants, lignite fired plants, oil fired plants, gas turbine, Nuclear power plants, Combined cycle power plants, Combined heat and power plants, Regenerative energy (SolarThermal, Geothermal, Biomass...), Desalination processes (MFD) and Refrigeration cycles. The software used for demonstrating the dynamics of the solar thermal power plant is a dynamic simulator developed by Steag which is based on the toolkit of Trax Inc. USA. This is a generic simulator for a 50MW solar thermal plant and covers the full dynamics of the plant including start ups under different DNI conditions and plant behavior in cloudy conditions.
