KEA alerts KCET 2013 students
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) alerts CET 2013 candidates that, at the time of document verification it is mandatory to provide proper mobile phone number in order to receive instant SMS alerts.

Document verification for eligible CET-2013 candidates is under process. Candidates need to bring their original documents for verification at any of KEA's 13 Helpline centre detailed in KEA Website.

By providing the mobile phone number you can get the details about the online seat selection process, schedules, Password for the Online Option entry process and more.

Also, candidates can get the details about how many seats are remaining and ensure the seat details selected by the candidate.

In case of change in your mobile number please inform the same to the verifying officer at the time of verification.

Candidates have to select the colleges and seats through online. Selection of college or option entry is an online process.

KEA will publish the details of eligible candidates on their official website at the end of every day after document verification.

On June 5th & 6th, 2013 more than 4,000 CET students appeared for document verification across 13 helpline centres.

KEA said once the document verification process completes then Option entry dates will be announced.

KEA official said, "Online Option entry dates will be announced once the government gives us the seat matrix".

During document verification process, there will be a single round only (also called allotment session) where the multiple internal rounds (admission, casual category, casual general etc)will be done. And the result of allotment session will be published after option entry. This eliminates the need for participating in multiple physical rounds with multiple option entry. So the best seat allotment is provided after the first allotment session itself.
