Karntaka state medical aspiring students placed 3rd in overall pass percentage in NEET UG results. Around 37,594 students registered for NEET exam, 25,043 students appeared for the test held in May, and 18,329 (73.19%) qualified.
The top performer across the country is Kerala, with 75.44% of the students qualifying in the test, followed by Delhi (73.90%). From Kerala, 61,042 students wrote the test and 46,049 succeeded. In Delhi, the total number of students who appeared for the test was 15,562, of whom 11,500 cleared it.
Among the registered candidates, a total of 7,17,127 candidates were eligible to appear in the NEET-UG, 2013, out of which 6,58,040 candidates appeared in the test and 3,66,317candidates have qualified the test all over the country.
The test was conducted at 1,251 examination centres located in 85 cities all over India and abroad.
In Karnataka, NEET UG 2013 exam was held in five district centres in Karnataka state. The designated exam centres were at Bangalore, Mangalore, Gulbarga, Belgaum and Davanagere.

The details and schedule of counselling would be available on the websites of MOHFW, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities concerned.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore will conduct the counseling for UG Medical Seats across the state.
