CBSE Class 10 Results 2013 Declared. Boys Outperform

Boys Outshine in Class10 Board Exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared class 10 results on Sunday night.

Tamil Nadu: The sources revealed that, over 99.88 % students have cleared the exam across the Chennai region which is constituted by Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep, Daman and Diu and Puducherry.

Candidates of Goa, Lakshdweep and Puducherry's performance was outstanding with 100% candidates clearing the exam. Over 2,338 schools in the Chennai region are affiliated with the CBSE of which 213 are Kendriya Vidyalay.

There was no prior information about the class 10 results. However, the board has announced on Friday that Class 12 results will be released on Monday at 10 am.

Karnataka: 99.90 per cent students pass CBSE class 10 examination in State. Karnataka has performed well with 99.90 per cent of students who appeared for the examination being declared passed as against the Chennai region's overall score of 99.87 per cent. In Karnataka, girls scored 99.97 per cent while boys recorded 99.86 per cent.

Kerala: The Kerala region registered a pass percentage of 99.96. Around 65,893 out of the 65,919 students who appeared for the Class 10 examinations had qualified for admission to the next level and 26 students had been declared eligible for improvement of performance. As many as 35,193 boys and 30,726 girls appeared for the examination. The State occupies the second slot in pass percentage after Goa, which secured 100 per cent.

Maharashtra: 98.85% candidates appeared from Maharashtra have passed the exam.Out of 29,540 candidates in the state Maharashtra, 30% candidates have opted for school based exam-an option provided by CBSE- while 70% took the board exam this year. Uttarakhand: A total of 1, 80,114 students appeared for the Class 10 Board Exams in the month of March this year. Students who appeared for these exams can check their results on uaresults.nic.in
