GSHSEB will announce GUJCET 2013 results on May 20

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will announce the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2013) results on May 20.

GSHSEB board had conducted the GUJCET 2013 on May 09. The test was conducted for admission in engineering, medical and dental courses in the state.

A total of 39,567 students appeared for the common entrance test in 27 examination centres across Gujarat. Ahmedabad City hosted 3,088 students while 1,471 appeared for the test in district centres.

GSHSEB board said that admission to the professional courses is based on weightage of marks in GUJCET and Class 12. GUJCET has 60% weightage, and higher secondary exam has 40%.

Recently, Supreme Court ordered that the states may be an exemption from NEET for this year and they can use scores of the local test conducted by the state.
