A Total 47 Students (Classroom: 21; Distance Learning: 25, eLearning: 1) from Resonance have scored more than 300 Marks out of 360. Amongst all other institutes in Kota, Resonance has the highest number of qualified students for JEE (Main). A brilliant student of Resonance, Palak Jain from Udaipur Study Center has scored 340 marks (94.4%), which is the highest score by any Resonance student. She has also scored a perfect 120 out of 120 in Physics.
Mr. Manoj Sharma, VP - Operations and Business Developments, Resonance said, "We have proved ourselves yet again in this changed scenario. The result for JEE (Main) 2013 was declared by CBSE board on 7-May-2013 (Tuesday). This exam was conducted for the first time after substantial changes were made in the exam pattern by Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
This result only identifies students who are eligible for JEE (Advanced), while a separate merit list will be announced by CBSE on 7-July for admission in NITs and other institutes. This merit list will be prepared by combining JEE (Main) scores and Board Scores with 60% and 40% weightage respectively.
JEE (Main) 2013 was of 360 Marks, (120 for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each) comprising 90 questions. In General Category the cutoff marks are 113 (31.4%); for OBC, 70 Marks (19.4%); for SC, 50 Marks (13.9%); for ST, 45 Marks (12.5%). Out of total 150000 students declared qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2013, 50.5% students (75750) are from General Category; 27% students (40500) are from OBC Category; 15% (22500) students are from SC and 7.5% (11250) students are from ST Category.
