VIT University students placed top 5 in Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013

A team of four students from VIT university are placed Top 5 teams in Microsoft Imagine Cup 2013. The selected studnets are Shreyas Deshmukh, Vasu Mahesh, Abhishek Batra and Prince Shekhar Valluri.

The competition was held in Microsoft India Development Center- Hyderabad under the team name of Exception Underflow.

The team came up with a project called the Easy Vote which is an app created for the Windows Devices built for revolutionizing the current voting system by porting it to mobile phone, PCs and tablets.

The team was acknowledged for its idea and presentation.

EasyVote aims at giving a voter the convenience to vote from any part of the world. It is an app which will eradicate the long queues at the ballot. It makes the voting system more justified by educating the voter about the representatives and political parties
