At IFIM, as a part of the new curriculum for PGDM- International Business, the 4th term is a compulsory ‘international immersion' for all the IB students. This is being done to make the PGDM-IB course truly global in its perspective and provide students with cross-cultural learning.
The term duration is 1st September, 2014 to 15th December, 2014. This term is included as a part of the course fee, the students would have to pay extra only for travel and stay abroad.
The students would be given an option to pursue this term at two leading international business schools. Both these B-schools have AACSB accreditation.
These international immersion programs are a part of the MOU's signed by IFIM Business School with these leading global institutes.
According to institute, the three-and-a-half month long ‘international immersion' term beginning in 2014 aims at making PGDM-IB course truly global in its perspective and helping students with cross-cultural learning.
The institute offers 60 seats in its two-year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management - International Business (PGDM-IB) Programme.
The term starting from next year will begin from September 1 and end on December 15. According to the institute, there will not be any extra cost for the term except travelling and boarding that will be borne by individuals.
According to institute, the program curriculum of PGDM-IB aims at providing a comprehensive coverage of all relevant disciplines and international business activity like International Finance, International marketing and International HRM. The program follows a pedagogy that has a blend of theory and practical like case studies, take home assignments, industry visits, research and international study programme etc.
