Students said "the NEET-PG exam was conducted between November 23 and December 6. Over 1.20 lakh medicos who had completed their MBBS appeared in the entrance test for admission in the PG seats.The NEET-PG result has been pending since it has been challenged in the Supreme Court by a number of private medical colleges. "
Dr Shakeel Vadaliwala, president of the national body formed by the medicos to press for their case said "There are only 5,000 PG seats on medical colleges all over the country for which 1.20 lakh students had appeared for the exam. It has been over five months but the result has not been declared. This has resulted in tremendous mental stress on the medicos."
Also, Students said that a co-ordination has been set up between medicos of 15 states where rallies and hunger strikes to get the results declared will be held sooner.

1. The nation's first common medical entrance exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results have been delayed since one month and a half which further lead students in jeopardy. Around 95,000 students registered for the NEET PG 2013 entrance exam are seriously waiting for the results. As per the official announcement by NBE Board, the results were to be declared on January 31 which has been postponed for a long time. The verdict of NEET in order to make it as a common entrance exam across country has been submitted in Supreme Court.

However, the delay on NEET PG 2013 judgment has taken away a lot of time for Medical PG counselling.
3. Uncertainty over NEET in Pvt Medical colleges: Uncertainty continues over National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for MBBS and BDS courses admissions in Private medical colleges as they have advertised to conduct their own entrance exams. All the things will depend on the Supreme Court verdict on NEET, whether the colleges will provide admission to the students through NEET or their own entrance exams. Already some private universities and Institutions announced the notification for admissions in MBBS and BDS courses in their institutions.
