The students across the state who are eagerly waiting for their NEET results will take out a rally wearing black ribbons and represent their case for early declaration of the results.

Students said "the NEET-PG exam was conducted between November 23 and December 6. Over 1.20 lakh medicos who had completed their MBBS appeared in the entrance test for admission in the PG seats. The NEET-PG result has been pending since it has been challenged in the Supreme Court by a number of private medical colleges. "

Dr Shakeel Vadaliwala, president of the national body formed by the medicos to press for their case said "There are only 5,000 PG seats on medical colleges all over the country for which 1.20 lakh students had appeared for the exam. It has been over five months but the result has not been declared. This has resulted in tremendous mental stress on the medicos."

Also, Students said that a co-ordination has been set up between medicos of 15 states where rallies and hunger strikes to get the results declared will be held sooner.
