According to the officials, this is a new initiative taken by the Gorakhpur University which is conducting the exam. This idea behind taking this step is to add more transparency to the results that are declared.
B.Ed JEE is scheduled for 24th April and around 100 exam centres have been set up in he region that falls under the Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University. As per the sources, 54,500 students would be appearing for the exam.
This year, the examination will be held on the OMR sheets (Optical Mark Recognition). Once the exam concludes, a carbon copy of the OMR sheets would be given to each student which they can take home. Students can judge themselves and their results evaluating it of their own.
Sanjay Kumar deputy registrar CSJM university informed preparations to conduct the B Ed exam are complete. The exam would be held in two shifts from 8 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 4 pm. The admit card could be downloaded between April 21 and 23.
The university has also started sending admit cards to students by post. Those who have not received the same will have a chance of downloading it by logging on to www.upbed.nic.in.
