The founder and chairman of 'The Chopras' Mr. Naveen Chopra, who is also an Overseas Education consultant said "though scools abroad are very expensive, we are seeing an increasing number of Indian parents sending their children for education. Even individuals from Non-metros such as Jalandhar, Surat, Ludhiana and Indore are opting to send their children abroas for school education".
According to him, another aspect that attracts Indian Parents is that in abroad schools, small classes have average student strength of 15 to 25, with equal importance given to other aspects of learning.
An expert in the firls of Education says that "In countries like the US, there is no undue pressure on students during Class 9-12, unlike we have the Board Examinations for these students, here in India. Hence, parents who can afford the education there, prefer to send children to schools abroad for holistic learning, compared to textbook education in most Indian schools".
Moreover, unlike degree education, Visa regulations of most countries are not much filled with restrictions on students traveling for School Education. Experts found that in the next 5 years there would be a 30 to 35 percent raise in the number of students going to abroad for School Education.
