NEET OCI candidates must update 'State of Origin'

NEET OCI candidates add State of Origin
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi issued a notice that candidates of OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) category applied for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) are required to update their personal particulars in the NEET online application form by adding 'State of Origin'.

The facility of adding the 'State of Origin' will be available on the website of NEET till March 31, 2013. All the OCI category candidates are advised to visit the website and update information as per schedule. Click the below link to edit the online application form.

Who is OCI?
A foreign national, who was eligible to become a citizen of India or was a citizen of India or belonged to a territory that became part of India after 15.08.1947 and his/her children and grandchildren, provided their country of citizenship allows dual citizenship in some form or the other under the local laws, called as an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

CBSE conducts NEET UG 2013 entrance exam on May 05, 2013 for Undergraduate students for admission to MBBS / BDS courses across the country.

The admit card for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate Medical courses is available in the official website from April 01 to 10, 2013. NEET UG aspirants have to download the admit card from the NEET website.

Details of missing photograph, signature or thumb impression has been uploaded in the website.

Candidates are advised to be in touch with the website regularly for latest updates not to make any correspondence regarding corrections to CBSE.
