Some Benefits of Opting JEE Main online exam:

  • JEE Main online exam is scheduled from 8th April to 30th April 2013. So an aspirant can opt his/her choice of exam date as per his/her. Consequently, he/she will also get the choice of shift if exam is in two shifts. Whilst offline exam will held on 7 April 2013 strictly.
  • It will be computer based not Internet based exam. During examination, a candidate can review or change their answer anytime. Moreover, he can also mark any answer for review at later stage.
  • Furthermore, there will be a panel on the screen of computer which shows all questions in different colour scheme indicating which questions are answered/unanswered/marked for review.
  • What's more, there will be savings of Rs. 300 in exam fees if you choose online mode as compared to pen and paper mode exam.
  • For experience of real-time computer based exam of JEE, there has been made available JEE mock test at its official website of JEE Main so that candidates can familiar with look and feel of online exam in simulated environment. Another mock test will also be available on the site in the first/second week of Jan 2013.
  • As this exam is computer based exam not internet based so the speed of internet connection doesn't matter. The entrance will conduct on LAN (Local Area Network) so it is so fast to answer in online exam. After exam schedule, JEE question paper will be mailed to each and every candidate.
  • So there is some information for JEE Main online and offline exam. If you want to opt for computer based exam and you have already applied for offline exam, then you can write a mail to JEE (Main) Secretariat with the subject caption as "Change of mode of exam from Pen and Paper to Computer Based" giving his/her registration no and choice of city for computer based examination.
