Only 70,000 candidates have registered for the CMAT Feb 2013 for one time, they asked the AICTE officials to provide them an opportunity to write the CMAT test in may 2013 also.

Shrikant Umrikar, CMAT aspirant had sent a mail to Director, Mr Mahajan regarding the above issue, "We have appeared in sept 2012 and feb 2013. Our assumption was that there are only two CMAT for 2013-15 MBA admission. So people who took Sept 2012 CMAT appeared in the test to know how the test is. Everybody was preparing for CAT and many were not prepared for the GK section. So we tried to give our best shot in Feb 2013,"

Another CMAT aspirant directly contacted the CMAT customer care and said that, the students who have appeared in two test are also allowed to write additional test.

But, AICTE officials are not yet given any official announcement on this issue. Students are planning put petitions in court.
