K'taka Online Campaign On IAS Regional Lang Issue

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently, made few Amendments to the rules of the UPSC IAS Entrance test, which said that candidates who attend this exam should write a complication of Hindi or English language and the results shall be considered based on this.

Underestimation of the role of regional languages made Kannada Development Authority Chairman Chief Chandru against UPA. He wrote a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. DMK, Shiv Sena and BJP condemn regarding the action of the UPA.

The federal system of language equality and refuse to any other regional language has brought up students being very furious about this.The rural students are the ones who are being much affected due to this changes. This approach is to bring equal opportunity to contribute students from rural areas and non-Hindi speaking students.

UPSC has however opposed to test changes behalf of other states. They are ongoing studies about the problems among the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In order to over come this Priyanka Bhargava arranged an on-line signature collection campaign. Sign Petition.

After being signed by all the people of Karnataka it will be sent to the senior official of Karnataka Government. To sign up, more and more people, in all languages the petition shall further be sent to all regional language authorities. With respect of bringing awareness among the people about the equal rights and importance of regional languages also for the prime sake of our rural students Karnataka has taken it step forward.
