UPSC CSAT Mains Exam Pattern Changed
Finally the decision of changing pattern for Civil Service Main 2013 exam has come to an end. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has given his approval for the change in CSAT Main 2013 examination, which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

The UPSC is yet to give an official notice on the change taken place. The Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said that "The decision has been made. We will be notifying the changes in a day or two in the official Website".

 

It is finally decided to have double weightage for General Studies (GS) papers in the Civil Service (Mains) Examination starting from 2013 onwards.

About CSAT: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) is a test conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in order to select candidates for the Civil Services Mains Exams. Those who pass the Mains exams and Interview can join the Prestigious Indian Government services like IAS, IPS etc. The CSAT (Prelims) for the year 2013 is to be held on May 26, 2013. And the application process are to start from February, 2013 onwards.
