AICTE Chairman Mr SS Mantha has said that CMAT exams will be on schedule from February 21-25. "If at all candidates do not reach the exam centres or are inconvenienced because of the bandh, we will make adequate arrangements and make sure they take the exam somehow, if not that day, another day," he said.
"We will take a decision on that day itself but candidates need to fear missing the exam because of the bandh. We will also inform candidates accordingly," said Mr Mantha .
He also said that a decision will be taken either this evening or tomorrow morning. "I have yet to receive official papers regarding the bandh. Once they do, I will take a decision accordingly."
According to the sources, however said that in all likelihood, there will be a postponement. The first CMAT 2013 exam which is to be held on February 21 may be held on February 26, after the final day of the original exam schedule, which is February 25. But please note that Reschedule of Exams are not yet announced by the CMAT Higher Officials.
