Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTEIT), Chandigarh invites application for admission to various Diploma courses in affiliated college in chandigarh and punjab through Joint Entrance Test (JET 2013), which is scheduled to be held on April 07, 2013.

JET -2013 (Joint Entrance Test) will be conducted by the Board for admission to various diploma courses which are being offered or proposed to be offered in the Institutions. The admission to the Institutions will be based on the JET merit category wise. Reservation  shall be as per reservation policy of Govt. of Punjab/UT Chandigarh.

Exam Pattern:
JET-2013 will have one paper of 200 questions (English-40, General awareness and Aptitude-40, Mathematics-40, Physics-40, Chemistry-40).

The question paper will have multiple choice objective type questions only. There will be no negative marking in the JET. The objective type questions shall be answered on a pre-printed Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet. The candidate is required to mark his/her responses as per instructions given on the OMR answer sheet.

The Candidates should have passed the matriculation or equivalent Examination on Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English from State Board /central Board i.e. CBSE/ICSE/National Open School or from any other country.

The syllabus for this test is broadly based upon the syllabus prescribed for Matriculation Examination (i.e. 9th and 10th classes) of Punjab School Education Board.

Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on the merit of the JET.
