DA-IICT Gujarat M.Sc in Agriculture admission 2013

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar invites application for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) in Agriculture and Rural Development programme through an entrance test commencing in the session 2013.

Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test will be of one hour duration. The Entrance Test will assess the candidates' understanding in a number of areas. The areas covered are:

• English Comprehension
• Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
• Analytical and Verbal Reasoning

Eligibility:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in science / engineering graduate preferably in Agriculture & Allied Sciences / Agriculture Engineering / Bio-Sciences and Engineering / Fisheries / Forestry / Management Sciences / Environmental Sciences / Computer Applications / Computer Science or Engineering / Information Science or Technology and allied disciplines with 60% of marks from a recognized university.
• The candidates must possess a recognized degree with three years of education after 10+2.

Selection procedure:
Candidates for admission will be selected through a process of an Entrance Test followed by an interview.

Fee Structure:
At the time of admission an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- towards Tuition Fee for the First Semester and Rs. 5,000/- towards Caution Deposit) is to be paid by the candidates through a bank draft drawn in favour of "DA-IICT", payable at Ahmedabad. Subsequently, fees are charged semester-wise, at the time of registration of each semester. The Institute reserves the right to revise the fee and payment structure.

• Admission fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1000/- for online and Rs.1100/- for offline.
• The candidates who submit an online admission form are required to send a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour "DA-IICT" and payable at Ahmedabad, to the address given below.
• Candidates downloading the form and sending it by post have to send a demand draft of Rs. 1100/- in favour of "DA-IICT" and payable at Ahmedabad and attach it with the application form.

Important Dates:
Last date for online application form is March 08, 2013.
Last date for receiving completed application form is March 11, 2013.
Entrance exam on: April 07, 2013.
