Patna, January 25: The stage is set for the eagerly anticipated second National Business Festival Gnosis'13 that will bring together bright innovative minds and future managers from the premier business schools across the country, here on January 27.

Hosted by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), the event will witness the bright students of leading B-schools in the country testing their managerial and marketing skills through a wide spectrum of competitions like business plan, ad making, case analysis, business quiz and debate.

This is the second edition of the national business festival, held by CIMP to provide the right platform for future leaders to test their skills and learn from students of other top business schools and technical institutes, including IIMs and IITs.

"This kind of event should equip the students well to face the future competitions when they step out into the field as heads of companies. More than that, it is an occasion to assimilate and learn from other students, while putting own skills to test," said CIMP Director Dr V Mukund Das.

Prominent B Schools and technical institutes like IIM Lucknow, IIM Trichy, IIT Delhi, Delhi University's Faculty of Management Study (FMS), BHU, Xavier's Group, KIIT, Fore School of Management, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, JBIMS, TAPMI, Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Indira Institute of Management, Pune, KJ SIMSR, etc. have already registered for Gnosis'13.

The events at the festival have been chalked out to bring out the innate skills of the students. Namozi, the B-Plan contest, is an event which gives an opportunity to the students to be original and innovative. It will provide an opportunity to promising entrepreneurs to unleash their ideas to the business world," said Soni Kumari, lead coordinator of the event.

While Madoch Solution is a case study competition to test the analytical skills, Aurora is an ad-making contest to bring out the creativity in the students. Likewise, Agasthos (business quiz) and Prativaad (debate) competitions will also give opportunity to test the young brains, she added.

The winners will get prize money and certificates. The first two top prizes carry an amount of Rs 12,000 and Rs 8000, respectively. The third prize will have a purse of Rs 2000.

"The first edition of the event was a tremendous success. This has enthused us to pursue the event with greater vigour and energy. Gnosis'13 is an event which presents an opportunity to the students to be original and innovative," informed Mr. Sudeep Rohit, CIMP's media interface.
