Delay In UG Exam Results At Bangalore University

The Bangalore University had recently postponed the post-graduate exams of last week virtually at the last moment has now let to the delay in the declaration of Undergraduate courses Examinations.

The exams were conducted in the month of November, 2012 and the results were expected on Jan 16 or 17, 2013, which has now been delayed.

According to the sources, as a commercial concern contracted by the University to scan the answer scripts is now threatening to withhold the results if their payments are not yet cleared.

A Registrar evaluation of Bangalore University RK.Somashekar said "TRS people (The company which assigned the job) are literally harassing me. The firm has no right to with-hold the results".

The stressed Registrar seems to have blamed the mistake on the Vice-Chancellor. He said "On the other side, the company is harassing me and other, the Vice-Chancellor is harassing me by not clearing the bills of the concerned company and sending notes to me asking why we have not announced the results yet."

Reacting to the above statement, the Vice-Chancellor Mr.Rangaswamy said "I am not holding any files intentionally. The bills for the current exams have been cleared and the bill which is pending is of 2011 exams and I need to verify why that is pending? And there is no question of harassment and I am doing my duty".

In the conflict of these two officials of Bangalore University and TRS its the STUDENTS who are suffering now. And this is a very strange act when students have to face problems just because of their official issues. Duties and Responsibilities must be handled and followed in their own ways.
