CMAT 2013 Registration Date extended
The registration for the CMAT Feb 2013 has been extended to Jan 13, 2013. Previously, it was extended to Jan 09 from Jan 02.

The reason behind for the extension of the dates that Karmataka Government approved to accept the CMAT scores for the state MBA course admission. The Karnataka is the 12 state to accept the CMAT score from academic year 2013-14.

 

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi conducts Common Management Admission Test (CAMT) Feb 2013 Second Test for admission to Management programmes approved by AICTE.

The CMAT Feb 2013 exam will be conducted from Feb 21 to 25, 2013 and results will be declared on March 13, 2013.

Around 1.45 lakh candidates registered for the CMAT till Jan 09. It is so far the maximum for CMAT. While CMAT Feb 2012 had 70,000 applicants & CMAT Sept 2012 had 60,000 applicants.

With the latest addition, the states that have already notified CMAT as the official exam for their state university MAB Programs are: Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Haryana and Karnataka.

CMAT Feb 2013 is a computer based test which will beheld in two slots, from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. The exam will be conducted across 32 cities in India.

Eligibility:
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Admission Process:
The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.
In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.

How to apply:

  • Candidates should have to apply online for the test.
  • The candidates should have to choice of 3 cities for online examination in order of preference.
  • Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots on a particular city.
