Nihar Pachpande is a Engineering student who scored place with 99.67 percentile. He said "The reason I want to shift to management from engineering is because my relatives suggested I am good at people skills. I liked the idea and decided to shift faculty and hope to secure a spot at IIM-Ahmedabad."
Nihit Agrawal who belong to Nagpur city has scored third place with 99.58 percentile.He said that "CAT is really elementary and even a junior college student can crack it. When in Std XII, I had appeared for tough exams such as AIEEE and IIT-JEE that really took a lot of effort to clear,"
An Official, Director of IIM Kozhikode said "It's heartening to note that IIM's are ushering in the New Year with a talent pool that is both diverse and inclusive. The CAT 2012 results indicate the rhetoric of inclusion indeed matches the reality inside the IIM Classrooms."
"We are glad that we started the trend of greater gender diversity inside IIM's. We trust the classroom learning will be an enriching experience for those who finally find their way to IIM's this year" he added.
