The university has allowed to take admission in the January session directly to the second semester for B.Tech and MBA courses.
The decision was taken, because in these courses, the study of the second semester is not dependent on the first semester, the students will not lose any aspect of his or her studies bu joining the second semester and completing he first semester after that. As they will join the 2012 session, they will be able to save one precious year of their academic career.
Every year university will conduct an entrance exam for admission to these courses. As per the university notification, students will be admitted in the January session against the vacant seats of sanctioned intake of the current academic year, said Dr Anshu Nataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges.
For completing the syllabus of subjects of the first semester, the university has chalked out a special plan. Kataria added that as this choice is not available in Haryana, a large number of students are expected to take admissions in colleges near Chandigarh to avail the benefit of this notification.
For the academic year 2013-14 the university will provide the admission to the B.Tech courses through the JEE (Main) 2013 entrance exams scores.
JEE Main 2013 entrance exam will be conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions.
