NEET PG 2013 will be conducted over 11 days from Nov 23 to Dec 06, 2012. Over 95,000 candidates registered for the computer based admission test for the PG Medical courses. The single entrance exam will be administered as a computer based Test.
It will be conducted in single session of three hours time duration. There will also be an additional 15 minute tutorial prior to the start of the test, according to the NEET PG national board of examination. There will be total of 240 multiple choice questions. Candidates will have the option to navigate between the questions through the 'Review Screen'.
" Every testing venue is physically and electronically monitored throughout the testing process, from the time candidates arrive, through the duration of the test, until they leave the venue. A total of 1,000 cameras are also installed to record both audio and video during the test," said Bipin Batra, Executive Director, NBE.
He also said, "Candidates will need to produce a valid admit card with an attested photograph, their SMC (State Medical Council) or MCI (Medical Council of India) registration certificates, as well as an authorised photo ID before being allowed into the testing venue. They will be asked to store their personal belongings outside before being frisked and scanned with a metal detector. Finally, their digital image and fingerprint will be captured before being assigned a workstation for the test,"
"All the test centre staffs are trained to identify security threats, and any suspicious of disruptive behaviour during the test can lead to candidates being disqualified. Candidates can get all the information from the official website of NEET PG," he added.
NEET PG 2013 exam results will be announced on Jan 31, 2013.
