BITS Pilani Student Gets Job In Google With 1.22cr

Pilani, 22 November 2012: One more student from BITS Pilani, Mr Nitin Gangahar, has been offered job by Google with salary package of US $ 225 thousand (INR Rs 1.22 crore) this semester. Nitin has confirmed the receipt of offer.

This makes it total three BITSians who received Rs 1.22 salary package from Google this semester, the earlier ones being Rushabh Agarwal and Kunal Lad who received the same offers from Google last week.

A dual degree student of BITS Pilani (MSc Mathematics and B. E. Computer Science), Nitin did the summer internship in Google News division in Bangalore during May - July 2011. Nitin's posting will be at Google's Head Office in Mountain View, California, US. Nitin completes the degree at BITS in July 2013 and he is expected to join the company in October 2013.

Nitin is from Renu Sagar in UP.
