New WebPortal Launched For Research Activities At Kerala University

Kerala Industries Minister PK Kunhalikutty had launched the new web portal particularly dedicated to the research-related activities at the Kerala University. On inaugurating the portal he said that this university plays a major role in imparting new ideas to the society.

About the New Portal: It deals with Applications for entrance examinations for research purposes to matters relating to the evaluation of the research thesis. A candidate can handle research registration memo, processing of applications relating to course work, hall ticket and pass certificate through the portal.

It also provides space for research guides to publish all their academic details. The research programmes under this university focuses on Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Languages and also Arts.

A research council is constitutes with senior faculty members of the University, Members of Syndicate, Heads of the R&D institutions with the Vice Chancellor as Chairman and Senior faculty member nominated as Director of Research in order to make research meaningful and relevant to the society and to increase extent to interaction between University faculty and students and scholars in other research and development institutions and to promote academic industry reaction.
