Union Corporate affairs Minister Dr.Veerappa Moily, was a part of the seminar. The newly launched programme aims to groom students for a management career after completion of the 10+2 level.
Objective of the Programme : The programme offers students an understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue the chosen area of specialization. Besides aspiring to create successful managers, the programme seeks to instill the spirit of entrepreneurship into students.

The course, as per the brochure has been designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular front.
Dr.Moily said fiscal reforms must be complemented by process reforms and human resources reforms to become successful. He stressed the need to produce outstanding business leaders with a vision to transform the industrial and economic landscape of the Nation.
"The primary challenge to the global management education is to develop paradigms suitable to both the local and global context", he added.
