Swedish University, is now all set to impress Indian students. Well, its seems happy that students of India are highly focused on Higher Education and wish to pursue in Abroad other than their own country. Is it only that they focus or mainly interested in migrating to an offshore land to study higher.
Recently, on Wednesday Malmo University held a session in order to interact with students regarding the Swedish University. Mr.Senden, said that unlike the popularity of study destinations in the United States, UK, Cannada and other countries, Sweden was a little known for its high standards of education.
The event was organized by the city-based SNY Cosmos, Overseas Edu Consultants. It provides counseling services to students aspiring to study in European countries like Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Denmark and Switzerland.
After addressing a seminar that highlighted the salient features of the Malmo University, Mr. Senden has a One-on-One with students opting to pursue their higher education in the University and lightened on what the University had to offer to the students from Non-European Countries and how much the students would benefit by choosing it as their study destination.
He said, "We have a lot of work to do here. We are mainly looking at the southern part of India which has a major chunk of students doing their 4yr bachelor's degree". He also admitted that the total strength of students from non-European countries in the university had dwindled in the last couple of years due to introduction of the fee policy.
"Earlier, the university attracted thousands of overseas students, thanks to the free education it offered. The programme offered by the Malmo University in English includes : English Studies, European studies, Human Rights, International Migration and Ethnic Relations, International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies. In Master's, it has Biomedical Methods and Technology, Communication for Development, Computer Science, European Studies, Global Political Studies, Interaction Design, International Migration and Ethnic Relations, Leadership for Sustainability, Media Software Design, Public Health and sustainable Urban Management.
