Admission To MBA/MCA Non-GCET Candidates
The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) relaxed the eligibility norms for the Non-GCET candidates for admission in to vacant seats in MBA and MCA Courses.

The candidates who are secured only 45% marks in the final year graduation and have not appeared for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) are eligible to get admission in to MBA and MCA courses.

Around 6,000 professional technical seats remained vacant despite the admission committee fro professional courses undertaking three rounds of admission. Meanwhile, 8282 MBA and MCA Seats have also remained vacant.

As per the notification from the Education department, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar, a candidate who is otherwise eligible for MBA but has not appeared in GCET-12 examination shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Master of Business Administration course, on the seats declared vacant by the GCET committee under rule 17. A candidate who is otherwise eligible for MCA but has not appeared in GCET-12 examination shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Master of Computer Application course, on the seats declared vacant by the GCET committee under rule 17.

All the interested candidates and Institutes are hereby informed to download the application form (fee NIL) from GTU web site.

The candidates have to submit the filled form with necessary documents in the institute in which they are interested to take admission.

The GTU sent a notification to all MBA/MCA institutes are hereby informed to complete the admission process on vacant seats by Non GCET candidates and submit the file of admitted candidates along with application form and necessary documents before 08th October 2012, 5 PM.
