The Director General (Medical Education) Mahender Kumar signed the MoU with HSCC senior manager Narender Kumar under which the project would be completed in 25 months. The foundation stone of this project would be laid by the Jaryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hoods on 19th November, 2012.
Hooda also informed that four new medical colleges in Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, Mewat and Faridabad will be set up soon at a cost of Rs.1300 crore. Further, he said under the leadership of Chief Minister, significant efforts have been made to increase the power generation. He also opined that a nuclear power plant would be set up in Village Gorakhpur in Fatehabad district.
The MP counted that with an aim to give boost to quality education, Rajiv Gandhi Education City was being set up at Kundli in Sonipat where education institutes of international level would come up under one roof.
