IIMC Provides Extra Marks for Non-Engg Students

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta is taking step ahead to ensure that students of the other disciplines get admission to management institutes.

IIM Calcutta decided to give a extra 2 marks to students form a Non-Engineering background.

IIM Calcutta officials said we are looking for students form the other disciplines or diverse backgrounds. The B-school is looking for students from the various fields such as Humanities to get a wider perspective.

The students who have more interest in knowledge of Business, Economics, Politics and Social Developments, IIM C provides admission to these students by giving extra marks to them.

The IIM Calcutta will also provides an extra marks to the Women candidates. The institute is looking forward to balance out the gender ratio and have students with additional skills and knowledge.
