MICA only considered Common Admission Test (CAT) scores for the indian students to get admit in this institute and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) for international students. Now, institute will accept the XAT score for admission process. The students appearing for the CAT, XAT and GMAT can take the MICA Admission test.

Prof Anitha Basalingappa, Admission Chairperson at MICA said, "With our decision to consider XAT scores for admission, we will be able to add to the diversity in the pool of students who earlier came only through CAT".
There is no cut-off marks fro the students, who are all appearing for the three exams can take the MICA's MICAT written test.

The selection procedure for the MIC PGDMC involves two steps.
Step 1: Candidates taking any of the three entrance exams can take MICAT
Step 2: The candidates will be selected based on Group Discussion, Personal Interview and performance in MICAT and CAT, XAT, GMAT.
