AP-EAMCET 2012 Fee Structure

The Andhra Pradesh Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee for Professional Courses offered in Private Un-aided Professional Institutions Rules, 2006 - Fixation of Fee structure for Under- Graduate Engineering courses including Pharmacy, Planning and Architecture and Pharm D courses in Private Un-aided Institutions in the State of A.P. For the academic year 2012-13.

The Member Secretary, Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) in the reference 6th read above have submitted the recommendations of AFRC to Government for notification of fee in various Professional Institutions for the year 2012-13. It is noticed that (7) Institutions included in Annexure - I A of AFRC have again submitted their undertakings to the Government for fixing a common fee of Rs.35,000/- only and hence these institutions are deleted from that list. Likewise (105) Engineering Institutions have submitted their undertakings to the Government for a common fee of Rs.35,000/- upto 24-08-2012. Therefore Government have decided to include all (105) Institutions in the list of Institutions at Annexure - I B submitted by AFRC for a common fee of Rs.35,000/- per year.

Similarly in case of B-Pharmacy Institutions out of (6) Institutions included in Annexure - II A of AFRC, one Institution has submitted undertaking for a common fee of Rs.35,000/- per year to the Government and hence deleted from that list. One Institution out of (67) Institutions included in Annexure - II B is found to be an Engineering Institution and hence deleted. Out of (136) Institutions included in Annexure - II C of AFRC's recommendations, one institution has given undertaking to AFRC for Rs.31,000/- and (5) institutions included in the said list are found to be other than Pharmacy Institutions and hence deleted. It is decided to include all the (40) Pharmacy Institutions that have submitted their undertakings to the Government up to 24-08-2012 for Rs.31,000/- and Rs.35,000/- per year in the relevant Annexure-II B & II C as the case may be.

In respect of Pharm-D Institutions (3) Institutions have given their undertaking to the Government for fixing a common fee of Rs.68,000/- per year and hence it is decided to include these institutions in Annexure - III A.

As directed by the Hon'ble AP High Court (APHC) on 24-08-2012 in W.P.No. 26418 of 2012, it is decided to refer the matter to AFRC to reexamine and to re-determine the fee pertaining to the Institutions included in Annexure - I C of the recommendations of the AFRC submitted to Government vide reference 6th read above so that further action can be taken after receiving the revised recommendations from AFRC.

Government after careful examination of the entire matter has decided to issue the following notification which shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh extra-ordinary Gazette on 26-08-2012.
