These 6000 students have got admitted into Engineering and Pharmacy courses, for which Monday was scheduled to be the last date for registrations. Though the admissions are complete, 13,175 seats are yet to be filled for these two streams across the state.
The merit list of these candidates will be prepared by next week. This is said to be the second merit list. The Offline admissions will start in the third week of august. The schedule of admissions in Engineering and pharmacy courses for those who cleared their supplementary examinations have been declared by the admission committee.
For now, 9,833 seats for engineering, 299 for auto engineering, 133 for chemical, 829 for civil engineering, 2302 for computer engineering, 3424 for electronics and communication, 1045 for Information Technology and 262 are for Mechanical stream are lying vacant. And for Pharmacy stream around 3642 seats are left vacant.
