Notification To KCET 2012 Seat Allotted Candidates

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore announced a notification to the Common Entrance Test (CET 2012) seat allotted candidates.

Students who do not want the seat allotted to them in CET are requested to surrender their allotted seat to KEA before 10-08-2012 7:00pm. Such candidates will be refunded the fee paid by them by deducting Rs.5000/ as process fee. Complaints /Telephone calls have been received from parents/ candidates that many candidates who have been allotted seats in KEA by virtue of their ranking, have also selected Engineering seat in NITK Surathkal ,B.Sc(Agl), B.V.Sc seats in UAS and other Universities.

1) The Registrar, NITK Surathkal.
2) The Registrar, Karnataka Veterinary Animal & Fisheries Science Universities Bangalore & Bidar.
3) The Registrar, University of Agricultural Science, GKVK, Bangalore.
have been requested to give the list of candidates who have selected seats in their institutions during 2012.

It is a part of every student's duty as a responsible citizen to give up the Government Quota seat not required by them so that such seats can be offered to equally eligible meritorious students. This is an appeal to students. The Seat Surrender Counter is opened in KEA and at all other KEA Helpline Centers (Mysore, Mangalore, Karwar, Shimoga,Hassan, Davanagere, Bellary,Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gulbarga and Raichur) from 8.30 AM to 7.30 PM on all days.
