XAT 2013 Entrance To Be Conducted On 6th January

The sources from XLRI, School of Business and Human Resources, Jamshedpur admission office have declared the XAT entrance exam dates. The exam is scheduled to be held on 6th of January, 2013. The notification will be released by XLRI in a few dates.

The sources said that the institute is planning to incorporate few changes in the exam this year. The mode of the exam will be a paper-pencil-test. Also, the exam timings might be changed from 2 hours to 2 and half hours. It might exclude the essay section this time.

Further candidates can expect more questions on social sciences and humanities though the paper will be more of analytical based questions. These changes are focused on to bring in more gender and discipline diverse students on campus. The numbers of centres to conduct the exam shall also be increased.

The changes are being considered by Xavier Institute of Management and Research-Mumbai, Xavier Institute of Management- Bhubaneshwar, Xavier Institute of Social Studies- Ranchi and Loyola Institute of Business Administration Chennai.
