Vouchers For CAT 2012 Available Now!

The notification for CAT 2012 are already out. Well, students are more interested on their preparation. But, getting registered on time is also equally important. Hence here are a few details on where and when you can get your CAT Vouchers on time.

The Vouchers are on sale from Monday i.e July 30th along with the registration of candidates for the Common Admission Test (CAT) for the academic year 2012. The vouchers are available only till 17th of September. Interested candidates can collect the vouchers from any branch of Axis Bank across the country. The registration window will be open just 2 days after the last day(Sept 17).

A Graduate student of Management studies who brought a voucher for herself said "A senior had warned me about long queues at the voucher window. So, I started early from home. But I got the voucher in half an hour. I hope that registration will be just as smooth as this half an hour.

The test for entrance to the country's premier B-Schools- the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM's) which will begin on October 11, will be spread over 21 days, just a day more than the period it was conducted in last year. Professor SSS Kumar, who is a convener of CAT 2012 said "There are no major changes in the format of the test. Significant changes were made last year. Now, we want candidates to familiarize themselves with this format".

On the announcement made last year by the previous CAT convener that the IIM's plan to conduct the test on an international level, said Kumar. Howevr, CAT 2012 will be a domestic test, he added. According to Prometric, which organizes the Online CAT test, said candidates can access the website for a mock test. Www.catiim.in
