Here, when Maharashtra SSC results have been declared, the report says the same! Yes, in a report of what happened in the HSC examination results, girls once again outshine boys in the SSC examinations. The results were announced on Wednesday and the passing percentage of girls was an impressive 82.96% compared to 79.90% for boys across the state.
The exam was held by The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), around 9 divisions in the month of March. According to the record Konkan division stands in the first place with the pass percentage of 93.94, students from the city scored 90.7%, Kolhapur at third place with 89.17%. Mumbai is here in the fourth place with the total of 88.94%, while Latur stood last with 69.01%.
The Pune division report says, the passing percentage for girls was 91.65 against the 89.92 pass percentage scored by boys. Kolhapur girls bagged up 90.11% where as boys were in 88.41%.
The chairman of MSBSHSE, Sarjerao Jadhav says "The state-wide percentage was 81.32% more than last year which was 76.06%. We are seeing an improvement ever year". The board instead announced that that like last year, admissions this year will also be centralized and the process will take place in Fergusson college and other government recognized colleges, including Garware College and Wadia College, from today till 28th of June.
