The sources revealed that the exam timings was from 10 am to 1 pm, instead came to an end at 2.30 pm. The college sources say that; The candidates in the room numbers 7,8,9 and 10 were stuck with technical errors. As an official said “They had to be then shifted to a different room. The centre co-ordinator spoke to National Informatics Centre (NIC) officials and sorted out the error”.
The college administrator of the city said, more than 50,000 students had appeared in the Online test. NIC had marked some colleges of Ahmadabad to be centres for Online AIEEE Entrance exam. The written exam was held last week in Gujarat”.
The records say that the number of candidates for AIEEE exam in this year (2012) has been increased by 5000. Last year it was 70,000 candidates who had appeared for Online test which has increased to 75,000 this year. All Online Exam centres in the city was in full security, fixed with CCTV's in order to keep an eye on all examinees and prevent mass copying.
