Students Forging Results For Admission
At the Dyal Singh College of New Delhi, as a fresh case of fake admissions has registered police complaints against 8 students, for allegedly submitting forged revaluation results in order to get admission to the third year. The Principal Dr.IS Bakshi said that “The cases came to light after the documents were found to be forged during verification by the university, and a police complaint in this regard was filed on Monday”.

He also added that ; All the eight accused students are students of BSc Physical Sciences, had submitted fake revaluation results for the second-year exams to claim admission to the third year. All the forgery cases were found to be of the same nature.

The college had in February this year approached police against two final year chemistry Honours students, after the revaluation results they submitted for admission to the third year were found to be fake. The Principal said that out of eight fresh cases, four students had already gained admission when the Chemistry Honours cases came to light, while the others had submitted out before admissions were granted to them.

The University around three days ago informed us via letter that forged results have been submitted in eight cases, and so we have filed a police complaint on the basis of the information, said Dr.Bakshi.
