Placements At IIM-B,Now Conducted Only On Weekends

Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B) has announced that its placement process will be conducted only at weekends. As earlier, placements were conducted for a week full without any divisions. But this year it is made sure the process will b held on February 18th and 19th that is on Saturday and Sunday including the other weekends following it.

This decision has been taken to relieve students from mental pressure. Before, the students who could not get offers on the first day had to suffer from physical and mental stress throughout the week till they got placed. The schedule used to be very hectic with a number of interviews lined up on a single day. Now the institute will be conducting regular classes during the week days and placement process at the weekends.

In the present year nearly 120 companies it is expected to visit IIM-B campus for final placements. Only 35 to 40 companies will be visiting each day during the initial phase of placements since every company wants to hire only the top layer cream students of IIM.
