This candidate however is from Telugu field from Nellore and pursuing his studies in IIT Ropar, Punjab has scored 100 % and is one among the nine candidates who secured that figure in the entire country. The CAT, held for admissions into the IIM's and other top business schools in the country, was conducted from October 2012 to November 18 last year.
The director of CAT course at Hyderabad Mr. K.Ramnath said “Those who figure in the top two percent of the candidates may get a call from the IIM's. Candidates who scored as low as 92% stand a chance. Calls for interview and group discussion are based on the CAT scores as well as the work experience of the candidates. Each IIM has its own mode of judging the candidates”.
Note : CAT scores will also be accepted by the IIT's from this year.
