Graduation Ceremony Held at JICM Bhopal

Bhopal, Dec 2011: Clad in black robes and having green scarves on shoulders and caps on the heads, students of JICM were awarded degrees during their 1st Graduation Ceremony at the college campus .

Prof. B.K.Kuthiala Vice Chancellor, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Diwakar Shukla, Managing Partner, Ogilvy PR Worldwide was the guest of honour.

The students were awarded degrees in PGDM in Communication (Marketing Communication Management). It was a moment of celebration and pride for the JICM Graduates while receiving their graduation certificates amidst loud applause. Among the honoured were position holders Tejas Tamhane who stood first, while Nikhat Noor Qureshi and Priya Rajpal stood second and third respectively in JICM 2009-2011 batch.

Dr. (Prof.) Manish Verma, Director, JICM read out the college report highlighting the accomplishments of the college and enumerated the achievements of the students in academics and co-curricular activities.

Professor Kuthiala, VC, MCU Congratulated the students and inspired them to equip themselves with confidence, competence and skills achieve success.

Diwakar Shukla , Managing Partner, Ogilvy PR Worldwide called upon the JICM graduates to gear up for the challenges ahead. He also congratulated the students and faculty of the JICM for excellent performance.

Hari Mohan Gupta, Chairman, JSWS congratulated the graduates and spoke volumes of their poise and confidence.

Nikhat Noor Qureshi, JICM Student says” I feel honoured and delighted to witness such an extravagant event of the college. I think I’ve marked my name in the record of JICM as one of the best students.

Rajeev Mohan Gupta, Editor and Director, Dainik Jagran , Alok Saxena, Executive Director, JSWS and Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Director, JSWS were also present on the occasion.

Priya Rajpal on behalf of students of PGDMC 2009-11 batch gave a vote of thanks.
