DU Students Grab 22 Jobs in 1st Round Placements

On Tuesday, 8th of November Delhi University (DU) had conducted its first round of Central Placement where four companies had visited the campus in order to recruit the students of final year and Post Graduate students. More than 800 number of students had participated in the Placement Process. It was just first day, but found that 22 students were offered a job for Sales and Marketing field. A job portal visiting the campus included NGO and three other recruiters who left with Shortlisted Resumes of Students.

As per the sources of Central Placement Cell (CPC), the students were offered with a salary of 2.5 Lakh on the first day. The second round is to be held on January 29, 2012. Including these Indian Companies, a Japanese organization is expected to visit the University of Delhi, offering the highest package of 1.25 lakh per month ever in the History to a DU Student. This company is expected to offer job in Sales profile with a posting in Tokyo for the initial of 3 years of Employment.

The record of the year 2010 explains that out of total 12000 registrations, almost 1000 students were placed successfully by CPC. There were about thirty recruiters who visited the campus for hiring in the year 2010 that included PSU's, KPO's, NGO's and BPO's. And the highest salary pay that was offered was 5.5 lakh per annum posting for a Post Graduate for Finance Profile. The lowest package was of 2.10 lakh per annum.
