Tips On Which Is Better : Computer Science Or IT

Comparision Between CSE And IT
Computers Science is no more about Computers, instead involves many aspects of computing from the design of Microprocessors, personal computing and Super Computers in order to circuit design and writing software’s to power them. IT (Information Technology) deals with the application of computing technology to real life processors and CSE (Computer Science) deals with the “SCIENCE” that facilitates these applications.

Lets come across a small comparison in order to understand what is IT and CSE :
Computer science can be a course provided to both concentrators and non-concentrators. More than just Tech, you also know how to program them. In other words, it would teach you to think more methodically and solve problems more effectively. With the knowledge of Computer Science, you get the skill and ability to solve the real-world problems in many ways at the speed limit that is beyond the ability of humans.

Compared to IT, it is Computer industry that is one of the fastest growing segments in Indian Economy. Hence, the demand for trained professionals with scientific and technical training to perform effectively on the job. Based on this progress, now it is time to plan your future in COMPUTING.
If your passion is Technology or Computer Science, then degree from a computer training school is the only career move you will need to make. So first analyze, understand the difference and get the training you deserve.

Information Technology deals with how the computer handles and processes the input generated when a key on the keyboard is pressed. Just Think ! How can the computer tell the difference between the alphabet key and a number key ? How does the computer add any two numbers ?
It is because of IT, using the special number systems and codes to convert the data into a form which it can handle.

Most of the experts say, there is no difference between CS and IT. It is just that CS is taught as an Engineering level course in major Universities. In case if your choice is Computer Science, then you must take up Mathematics and Science in high level to require Computer Knowledge. Most commonly, an IT Graduate can look for a salary at around $ 2,500 per month while a CS Graduate can expect a Starting salary between $5000 and $7000 per month.

You may also have the question of JOB SECURITY because, IT Department and Human Resource Department are among the first to be reduced when a company prefer to cut costs. A CS major would be less likely to lose their job than an IT graduate. It is just as simple to understand the method to differ them as: IT = Great Major / Great Degree. And CS = Great Major and Great Degree. Now it is just that one(YOU) need to decide which one of these two fields fits better for the future.
