NLUO To Join CLAT From The Session 2012

CLAT to be followed by NLUO
The National Law University, Orissa (NLUO) has come up with a judgment to join the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) from the upcoming session 2012 . This meeting was undertaken by the University Executive Council headed by Prof. Dr. Faizan Mustafa, The Vice Chancellor of NLUO and attended by all other related Professors and Advocates.
It is reported that, from the very start of NLUO in 2009, it is conducting its own entrance test. As a result for the last three years the admission test at NLUO has been receiving the highest compliments from the renowned evaluators of Law Entrance Test all round the country .

NLUO which has already achieved the National Stature for including students from 28 states, because of which the number of candidates appearing every year is doubling each time . But now, the Executive Council has decided to be a part of Mainstream Law Entrance Test. However it has earned a good reputation since the last three years, for which the students shall give higher performance at NLUO from the upcoming session.

NLUO has always been apart from other Law Institutes because of its integration of knowledge adapted by an interdisciplinary approach towards all the courses and programs. The courses offered at NLUO are : Mining Law, Food Law, Water Law, Agriculture Law, Legal Journalism, and in addition to these programs NLUO has launched a Ph.D-LLM as a unique program whichincludes Intensive teachers training program, Education Psychology, Learning tools and stipends. As a difference for normal Ph.D course and Ph.D-LLM the research program by NLUO has decided to provide LLM degree as a by product.

The Vice Chancellor visualizes NLUO to become the best destination for Legal Education, via the measures informed above, in the next five years .
