The Centre of Promotion of Science was established in the year 1995, by the AM University to promote the cause of Science Education among the Indian Muslims. One of its main goal to start this act was to improve the quality of Science Education in Muslim Management Educational Institutions and Deeni Madaris.
Dr.Fatima Shujatullah, the director of “Centre for Promotion of Science” informed that the participants for this courses are selected on All-India basis. Age limit for those who give interests in joining Quality Science Teaching must be less than 50 .
It is ensured that the centre provides accommodation facilities to its participants including traveling and dearness allowances for the entire duration of course. The study resource materials for teachers, students and General readers are published in Urdu. For now, upto 27 books have been published . It has been a great honor that this centre was awarded with the "Hari Om Ashram Trust Award" , by the University Grants Commission for its outstanding work in the field of Interaction between the society and science.
All the interested teachers of such schools and madarasas may send their application form on prescribed standard, that is forwarded and signed by the principal/competent authority to the director of Centre for Promotion of Science.
