Number of intake increased at IIM Trichy
Indian Institute of Management, Trichy (IIM), which started from the year 2011-2012 is the eleventh IIM in the country and is one of the seven IIM's, the government is setting up during the eleventh five-year plan . IIM Trichy has not failed to fill up its quota of seats . Well, it has admitted students quite beyond its schedule intake, instead which had sanctioned for just 60 students.

However, during its admission process the institute has admitted 84 students instead, which has made IIM, Trichy as one of the only IIM's to take in such a huge number in its first year of a new start . This change all of a sudden can be said as sanction that came overnight . As prof V Gopal said: “A class of 60 students will be turned out into two sections with 41 and 43 students each . This can easily be stated an improvement and way to success at a very new start of the Institution , as it fell short by 36 students increasing into two number that of its actual sanctioned quota of 60 students” .

Their had been a huge pool of students for admissions from all round places, which led to the increase in larger number of Intakes . Officials at IIM,Trichy said that they had never expected such a huge number of students to apply and join as well. This was possible only because we were ready with all the infrastructure facilities that a student need, as the arrangements were made with a number in mind for Classrooms, Hostels and Canteen Facilities and more...

IIM,Trichy is standing at the first, it is probably the only new IIM that has started with the faculty strength of 10, which is expected to increase for 14 by next 2 months . IIM hopes that having 10 faculty might be a very good start, no matter the students are 60 or 84 in number, we walk towards success .
