OBC candidates worse affected
The OBC candidates are facing the heat of high cut-offs at Delhi University (DU) Colleges. The government is extremely surprised over the high cut-off coming in the way of filling seats reserved for OBC in Delhi University colleges.

As per Kapil Sibal, HRD Minister,"The existing education system is working against policy of access to education. I will sit with the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University on the issue of high cut-off."

Sibal wants to take this issue to Supreme Court for the benefit of the OBC students. He believes that even 10 per cent relaxation is helping the OBC candidates. It will remain difficult for OBC candidates to capture seats even if they are given 10 per cent relaxation, when the cut-off is above 90 per cent. Sibal expresses that he desires to see a single country-wide examination will get implemented by 2013.
